THE COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION HOSTS MEMBERSIPS EVENT FOCUSED ON MEDIA COACHING AND COMMUNICATION

CMA’s Ongoing MemberSIPS Programming Offers Country Music Professionals the Opportunity to Gather and Discuss Important Topics in the Music Business

The Country Music Association welcomed CMA members to its Nashville HQ on Monday, July 17 for a MemberSIPS event featuring a group of artists, managers and industry professionals for a conversation about communicating effectively through media. Led by award-winning journalist and media strategist Dyana Williams, attendees engaged in discussion and interactive exercises highlighting how artists can present and position themselves to media, how managers can coach their artists, and how industry professionals can speak effectively in front of media.

As the premier trade association supporting individuals within the Country Music industry, CMA created MemberSIPS to cater to its members’ professional development needs—offering thematic presentations, discussions and gatherings, and providing members a networking opportunity while enjoying a beverage with one another.
