Each year, nominees and winners for the CMA Awards are determined by CMA members. Since 1967, we have hosted the CMA Awards ceremony to honor and celebrate each year’s contributions to the genre.

CMA Industry Honors
Honors various individuals who have contributed in massive ways to the genre and the business. Various trophies include the Irving Waugh Award of Excellence, the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, the CMA Foundation Humanitarian Award, J. William Denny Award, and others.
CMA International Awards
Recognizes Country Music’s top professionals working and creating success in Country Music outside of the United States. Awards include the International Artist Achievement Award, International Country Broadcaster Award, Rob Potts International Live Music Achievement Award and more.
CMA Foundation Music Teachers of Excellence
Invests, honors, and celebrates music teachers who exemplify excellence in the classroom.
Board Elections
Each year, members have the opportunity to vote for the Board member to represent their category of membership.
