The entertainment industry asks a lot of its people—creatively, emotionally, and relationally. Many carry the weight quietly.
The Center for Mental Health in Entertainment at Belmont University launched free support groups for entertainment professionals.
Need to know:
- Purpose of the groups:
- Foster community and connection in an industry that can feel isolating
- Provide support in navigating the unique pressures and realities of entertainment work
- Offer a confidential, psychologically safe space to share challenges with peers who understand the context
- Who it’s for:
- Entertainment professionals across roles—executives, managers, creatives, touring/production, publishers, labels, and adjacent teams—who value an honest, supportive peer environment.
- Confidentiality:
- Participation and what’s shared in the group stays in the group. (Standard limits apply if someone is at immediate risk of harm)
- What and where:
- Groups are facilitated by an experienced mental health professional familiar with those working in entertainment
- Groups will be hosted at 38 Music Square East
- Each group will be held every other week from 9-10 am. The women’s group starts Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 and the men’s group will start on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026. The groups will be held every other week. (You will receive reminder emails in advance of each group).
If you’d like to participate, or share this with someone on your team who would benefit, please email [email protected] and we’ll send additional details.
