CMA Member Ambassador Program

Introducing the CMA Member Ambassador Program! CMA Member Ambassadors are a specialty group, designed to bring together a diverse, engaged and empowered segment of current Members (across all tiers) to boost CMA's recruitment efforts, spread the word about CMA Membership & generate community excitement around joining our network.

CMA Member Ambassadors will represent the CMA in various capacities, including promoting the organization’s mission, values, and initiatives while fostering a sense of community among current Members.

QUALIFICATIONS & HOW TO APPLY

This program's inaugural year will kick off with an open call for applications in January 2025. Applicants will then be formally accepted in Spring 2025 & can expect specialty meetings & projects to flow from there.

GENERAL CRITERIA

  • This program is only open to individuals across the United States & Canada. International based Members considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Must be a current & active Professional Tier Member of CMA, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of involvement with CMA/Membership Events and/or relevant experience in the industry.
  • Willingness to commit to a one-year term as an Ambassador.
  • Familiarity with CMA’s mission, values, programs, and resources.
  • Understanding the benefits of CMA membership and the ability to articulate them effectively.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and network within the musical community and industry.

  • Jan 22nd – Applications for inaugural year open
  • Feb 28th – Final day for applications
  • Mid-March – Chosen applicants will be notified directly
  • April 10th - “Ambassador Orientation”
  • June – Recruitment
  • July – Recruitment
  • August – Recruitment
  • October – Closing Celebration and Mixer
