CMA HOSTS MEMBERSIPS EVENT FOCUSED ON COUNTRY MUSIC CONSUMPTION
CMA’s Ongoing MemberSIPS Programming Offers Country Music Professionals the Opportunity to Gather and Discuss Important Topics in the Music Business
CMA welcomed CMA members to its Nashville HQ on Tuesday, March 12 for a MemberSIPS event focused on Country Music consumption in the U.S. and across international territories throughout 2023. With the genre experiencing a historic year, members from various sectors of the industry convened for a collaborative conversation and insightful look toward the future.
Michael Farris (CMA Senior Director, Business Strategy and Insights) and John Murphy (Luminate Vice President, Music Publishing and Financial Solutions) shared consumption data that informed discussions on what this data might signify, trends professionals can identify and anticipate, and how this information might impact different roles and sectors in the industry.
As the premier trade association supporting individuals within the Country Music industry, CMA created MemberSIPS to cater to its members’ professional development needs—offering thematic presentations, discussions and gatherings, and providing members a networking opportunity with like-minded professionals while enjoying a beverage with one another.
Members can check their inboxes for more information about the next MemberSIPS event or reach out directly to CMA’s Membership team at [email protected].
