CMA CEO SARAH TRAHERN HONORED BY JDRF DURING SATURDAY NIGHT’S PROMISE GALA IN NASHVILLE

Chief Executive Officer, Sarah Trahern, was honored during JDRF’s annual Promise Gala on Saturday, April 29 at the Omni Hotel in Nashville. Country Music superstar Trisha Yearwood presented Trahern with the honor in addition to taking the stage to perform “The Song Remembers When.”

A longtime supporter of JDRF, Trahern herself was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in June of 2019, just days before hosting the annual CMA Fest event in Nashville. During Saturday night’s gala, Trahern spoke about the strength of the type 1 community and celebrated technological innovation related to the disease.
