With just a few days left until Country Music’s Biggest Night™, the Country Music Association and ABC will celebrate with a variety of special programming leading into “The 58th Annual CMA Awards,” airing Wednesday, Nov. 20 (8:00-11:00 p.m. EST) on ABC and available next day on Hulu. ABC News will take viewers on an exclusive, all-access journey into the world of Country Music in a new special, “Vegas Lights & Country Nights: Countdown to the CMA Awards – A Special Edition of 20/20,” hosted by Country Music superstar Luke Bryan. The one-hour special will air on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 10:01 PM EST on ABC, and will be available to stream the next day on Hulu and Disney+. Filmed in Las Vegas, the special provides an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at some of Country Music’s top stars in the lead-up to “The 58th Annual CMA Awards,” including Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett, Carly Pearce, Dustin Lynch, Shaboozey, Brandi Cyrus and VAVO.

“Good Morning America” returns to Nashville for special CMA Awards coverage with Lara Spencer on Wednesday, Nov. 20, and Thursday, Nov. 21. Join Spencer bright and early on Wednesday, Nov. 20, for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Country Music’s Biggest Night with this year’s CMA Awards hosts, Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning and Lainey Wilson. Country artist Brett Young will also take the “GMA” stage for a special performance of two of his hit songs “Catch” and “Say Less.” The next morning, join Spencer for behind-the-scenes interviews with the night’s CMA Award winners.

On Wednesday, Nov. 20, “On The Red Carpet” will feature live pre-show coverage of this year’s CMA Awards outside of Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Streaming on Hulu and OnTheRedCarpet.com, beginning at 6:00 PM/EST, ABC7/WABC-TV New York’s Joelle Gargiulo, Country artist and “American Idol” runner-up Will Moseley and fashion expert Roshumba Williams report from the red carpet giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at this year’s awards – just moments before showtime – as well as interviews with many of this year’s CMA Awards nominees and hottest stars. About the CMA Awards
The first “CMA Awards Banquet and Show” was held in 1967. The following year, the CMA Awards was broadcast for the first time – making it the longest running, annual music awards program on network television. The CMA Awards have aired on ABC since 2006. ABC is the network home of the CMA Awards and CMA’s other two television properties, “CMA Fest” and “CMA Country Christmas.”
